About

Why I coach this way, and what makes it different.

My Story

I was the guy who trained for years and still didn't look like it.

Before I started lifting, I had the classic skinny-fat look. Naturally lean, but soft. Narrow shoulders. The kind of build where people couldn't tell whether you worked out or not. Most people would call that average genetics, and honestly, they'd be right.

But I never wanted that to be an excuse. So I did what most people do at first: I trained hard, followed whatever program I could find, and hoped something would click. For a while, not much did.

What eventually changed wasn't effort. It was understanding. I stopped following plans and started studying what actually drives muscle growth. Progressive overload. Volume management. Recovery. Periodization. Not as buzzwords, but as tools I could measure and adjust week to week. Once I started tracking what was working, actually tracking it with numbers, everything shifted.

Over time I built a physique I was genuinely happy with. Not because of good genetics, but because I figured out a system that worked for my body. And that's the part that stuck with me.

Coach Mirza

When I started coaching other people, I noticed the same problem over and over. They weren't lazy. They weren't clueless. Most of them had been training for years. But they were stuck because the programs they were following weren't built for their lives.

A consultant who travels three weeks out of four can't follow a 5-day split that assumes a perfect week. A pilot crossing time zones doesn't recover the same way every day. An engineer pulling late nights before a deadline isn't going to hit the same numbers on Thursday that they hit on Monday. The program has to know that.

That's what I built my coaching around. Not just writing good programs, but writing programs that adapt when the week doesn't go to plan. Every program I design tracks real data: session performance, body composition, recovery, biofeedback. And every week, I look at those numbers and adjust. Not based on what was supposed to happen. Based on what actually did.

I've been doing this for over 10 years now, in person in Dubai and remotely with clients around the world. The people I work with (consultants, pilots, lawyers, executives, engineers) all have one thing in common: they don't have the luxury of a perfectly organized training week. My job is to make sure that doesn't matter.

Whether you work with me in the gym or through a screen, the process is the same. Clear direction. Weekly adjustments. And a system that respects both the science and your schedule.

Philosophy

How I think about training.

I don't program based on what's popular.

Every training decision I make comes from your performance numbers, your recovery signals, and your body composition data. Not Instagram trends, not what worked for someone else. If something isn't working, the data shows it before you feel it, and we adjust before it becomes a problem.

You can't just "go hard" and hope for growth.

Stimulus needs to increase in a structured way, through volume, intensity, or load, with enough specificity that your body has a reason to adapt. That's what periodized programming does. It's not complicated, but it needs to be deliberate. Winging it doesn't count.

I'm not interested in 8-week transformations that fall apart by week 12.

Everything I build is designed to be sustainable. Nutrition you can actually maintain. Training loads you can recover from. Habits that compound over months, not ones that burn you out. If the result doesn't last, it wasn't a real result.
